“When I first thought about online coaching, I sat on the fence for the longest time, unsure about whether or not to commit. On one hand, I had grown frustrated at myself for not having a better body shape despite spending so much time tracking macros and training in the gym. On the other, I figured there was nothing a coach would tell me that I couldn’t already find on the internet so why spend so much money. I think the thing that convinced me in the end was that Kylie offered video feedback for her clients. I already had some knee pain which limited how heavy I could lift, and I didn’t want to cause myself a lifelong injury, so I thought “I’ll see if she can help with that and maybe I’ll lose some weight along the way”.
Fast forward to 5 months down the line and not only am I lifting far heavier than I managed on my own, but the knee pain seems to be a thing of the past! This isn’t the only thing though - I’ve found the gym far more enjoyable in itself and am really starting to get into a wonderful headspace when it comes to training. Kylie is able to pick up on the smallest mishaps with your form (which I honestly didn’t expect with videos) and helps you work on them week after week to ensure your technique is on point. This level of attention to detail isn’t something I’d ever experienced in the past and has made such a big difference when it comes to training for me. I thought I knew how to gym but it turns out there’s a lot more to it than simply going through the movements!
Training isn’t the only aspect Kylie has transformed though - my nutrition has also massively improved thanks to her guidance. I’m a big foodie and for me, meals out with friends are something I value so much. Kylie helped to provide real-world, implementable strategies when it came to meals out and (slowly!) I began to realise how I could still have a social life and work towards my fitness goals. All this means that ultimately, my body started to slowly change over the weeks until I got to a point where even other people were noticing how toned I had become! Bit by bit, Kylie has shaped my mindset to create a more sustainable and healthy approach when it comes to training and nutrition, which is something I’m hopeful will stay with me down the line.
Kylie’s knowledge and expertise in her field is incredible. She has provided so much reassurance and advice during my time with her, and has really helped to alleviate the mental pressure of “how best to exercise and eat”. Kylie is always available for support and guidance, and hasn’t been late with a single check in or feedback during my time with her (which I find astounding!). Her patience is also something to be admired - she has put up with my incessant questioning over the months without complaint! In a world where there is so much information at your fingertips, Kylie is able to ground you and put things into perspective. It’s no wonder she’s able to produce such consistently positive results and body transformations (mine included!).
